DIY Monster Bookmarks

Whaddup people?
You might have seen pictures of the cute bookmarks we made on Instagram! You can use them as bookmarks (obviously), gift them to a friend, make these adorable monsters as a fun friends project or whatever. Lets get startedddddd
Things you will need:
White paper and coloured/decorative paper
Scissors
Glue/Gluestick
Pencil
Scale/Ruler
Black marker/Sharpie/feltpen

Step 1: Draw a 5 inches by 5 inches square and divide it into 4 equal parts so that they for 2.5 inches squares. Then draw diagonals as show in the picture below

Step 2: Cut out the shape as shown

Step 3: Take coloured paper and cut out a 2.5x2.5 inch square

Step 4: Stick the coloured paper square as shown below! (You can cut it a bit shorter if you want or cover the whole square depending upon your choice.)

Step 5: Fold the two flaps like this and stick them together. Make sure you don't stick the bottom as that is where you insert the page.

Step 6: Cut out another small triangle and paste it as shown

Step 7: Cut out two white circles for eyes.

Step 8: Stick the eyes as shown.

Step 9: Add details in the eyes. You can either stick a small black circle inside the eyes or just color with your marker as we have done.

Step 10: Rawwrrr. Measure the mouth space of the monster and cut out some teeth/canines for the monster. Be sure to cut off a bit towards the end as shown. (Helps while sticking the teeth/canines)

Step 11: Stick the teeth on the inside of the mouth! And you are done.

Step 12: Optional. Cover the back with the same coloured paper.

Now you can start using these bad boys. Go crazy with the designs. Use color paper, scrapbook paper, draw on paper, use invites, whatever you like. For eyes you can even use those fun craft eyes with moving eyeballs.. Just enjoy..
