The Circus Is In Town: Elections In India

Whaddup people?
The Mumbai Girls are back to talk about the Circus going on in India. As many of you know, the election season is going on in India. And that means, all politicians and ministers and parties are doing anything in their power to overthrow the others, maintain their positions, and do good deeds and make promises in front of the people. Pleasing people is very important at the moment and that is what they are trying to do. Suddenly #NaMo #RahulGandhi #ArvindKejriwal #AbkiBaarModiSarkar #Congress #AAP are trending on Twitter. Not going to take sides because let's face it, I don't get to vote. I am 17. So Election Season! Yayy! *fakes enthusiasm*
(This post is not promoting any politician, minister, party. Just voicing my opinion and a few analytical points or whatever they are called)
Let's begin!!!
Please Note: Know that I say this with feigned enthusiasm of a groom bending for the millionth guest at his wedding reception.
P.S. It's nothing serious! Chill!
THE INDIAN GENERAL ELECTIONS often called as the "The Dance Of Democracy". This dance USED to be graceful but now it's just as graceful as Miley Cyrus twerking. Not.
I am writing this article because it's my democratic duty, I figured. Our democracy does not ask much from it's citizens. Just pay taxes, vote every few years, salute to the Ministers, cuss the government every few weeks or so and sometimes be racist and criticise other castes occasionally.
So even before I start, I am already sick of everything and everyone involved in this. It's like a hammer head shark just came and bumped into it. (The research for this article caused me migraine. If someone looks at me right now they'll probably feel I haven't slept for years because I look like a total zombie. But thanks to concealer and make-up it's safe to say I look like a labourer coming home after a day of work). At this point if Rahul Gandhi says Women Empowerment one more time, I will probably shoot myself. Everywhere the conversation suddenly turns political. Which would have been fine if it was a reasoned debate or something that actually make sense.
I have heard enough slogans and messages saying: Abki baar Modi Sarkar to last me a lifetime. Arvind Kejriwal really needs to stop trying to become an Aam Aadmi now because it is going a bit overboard. Rahul Gandhi needs to find some other answer for all the questions he is asked and not say Women Empowerment and RTI in India all the time.
Not really sure but as far as I know an Aam Aadmi isn't verified on Tiwtter and has 1.64 M followers. Last time I checked, Twitter doesn't verify common people.
Modi has the most enthusiastic followers in the history of the Elections in India. When the conversation is about NaMo, people generally mumble "development". When asked what development? They usually say something like: Have you seen the development in Gujarat? Schools.. roads.. etc etc. (Gujarat roads are actually good and Ahmedabad has the top 3 universities, went there recently, just saying).
Now the other name of Congress is Corruption.  People don't even say Congress anymore. I don't know what Manmohan is doing but Rahul Gandhi needs to up his game if he wants to continue. Might as well start looking at other career options.
The "development" joke about Modi, the "Aam Aadmi" joke about Arvind Kejriwal and the "Women Empowerment" joke about Rahul Gandhi are pretty much the same.
Just saying, Stop the tamaasha and maybe we'll vote for you just because you let us rest in peace.
The good thing about elections this time is the online registration: eci.nic.in which you can do from the comfort of your house. The website looks like those 90's web pages with Windows 2.1 but that's okay. You gotta do your duties as a good citizen. The form asks for some basic details like name, taluka/district, address, and all that stuff. They also ask for a photograph and no, you have to put your own photo and not a picture of the grumpy cat no matter how you really feel! You will shortly get an SMS after filling the form telling you to report to the local registration office which is located in an area which is as good as a haunted house. Scary. Yeashh. But hopefully you'll find the office and come back alive.
So I hope you all vote this time and not go for picnics. Do tell us whom you are voting for because we do have to have an opinion and support one oarty even though we are 17. That's how the system works apparently. You gotta be positive about one party. Take your pick. There are good (who am I kidding?) and bad points and qualities about all the parties. So yeah, do let us know. (Because seriously we have no clue. None)
Other than that, you can mail us, tweet us and comment us. Just answer this: What you think of the elections?
Next article will be Electionary: The Election Dictionary!
(Enough politics for today)

Miss P Speaks: Yeah I Am Obsessed

Whaddup People,
After reading the title chances are you must be wondering what I am talking about. As a typical teenager (Or maybe it's just me) I get obsessed with some things very quickly and quickly here can range from approximately 2 seconds to 2 weeks. I don't even realise it has become my obsession till someone points out and tells me to stop. Obsessed about what you ask? From food to movies to books to clothes to shoes to places to people to anything. When I am obsessed with something I need the people around me to be obsessed with the same thing, I mean come on, you should LOVE what I love. Or else I keep pestering them. Did you see the new Hunger Games movie? Dis you read The Fault In Our Stars? Don't you just love Connor Franta? Isn't Ellen DeGeneres the best? SAY YOU LIKE IT OR ELSE IT'S YOUR NECK AND MY KNIFE. 24/7 I will talk about my obsession and keep on making references. I will go to the extent of threatening my friends to read/see/hear that. When I am obsessed with some person (Connor Franta) I will stalk them on all their social media websites/apps, like and comment and tweet their posts/videos, buy same clothes and other things used by them, imagine impossible situations and scenarios with them, and all that other crazy stuff. Now don't you think of me as a psychotic stalker or weirdo fangirl (Because I am) it's just that I can't help it. My obsession with food is so much I can eat that 24/7 for breakfast,  lunch and dinner for the whole year. And I crave for that food. I keep on thinking about eating it.
I remember in 9th Grade I was obsessed with Vampires and Werewolves and I was going throught that Twilight- Vampire Diaries phase (which every girl goes through atleast once) and for the entire year all the books I bought or all the series I started were Vampires and Werewolves and my laptop was filled with Twilight, Vampire Diaries and Teen Wolf episodes. I used to dream about Jacob Black that is Taylor Lautner from Twilight (Yeah I am Team Jacob through and through) or Damon Salvatore that is Ian Somerhalder (Team Damon all th way). Then I completed The House Of Night series in books. And so on and on until I completed around 15 such Vampire/Werewolf series.
Then the year befor that I had a weird obsession with Skulls. Everything I had had skulls on it. Notebooks, diaries, t-shirts, rings, clothes, laptop skin/cover, phone case, wallpaper, posters. All you could see was skulls, skulls, and some more skulls.
So yeah my obsessions were weird or crazy or whatever adjective you feel but what can I say: that is how it was.
So this year I have been obsessed with YouTube (More like YouTubers) and the 5 YouTubers I am obsessed with are
1. CONNOR FRANTA
2. Lilly Singh a.k.a Superwoman
3. Ryan Higa
4. Bethany Mota
5. All India Bakchod (AIB)
And I actually met Superwoman and Bethany Mota when they came for YouTube FanFest Mumbai on 1st March, 2014. I didn't get a picture with them though :( I didn't really meet or talk to AIB at the FanFest but they were there. And as you people already know I went for AIB's The Royal Turds Show (If you don't,  read my previous post about the show). I spend the whole day watching videos or stalking them on Instagram and Twitter and tweeting them every second (tweeting from my personal Twitter handle)
So is it just me or does everyone become obsessed with something that easily? And for a year every year. If you are obsessed with anything or anyone or whatever comment or tweet or mail us. Also do follow us if you are a Blogger user.
Love You,
Xoxo,
Miss P

Experimenting In The Kitchen Entry 1: Oreo Milkshake

Hello Lovely People,
So I am Miss P and I am going to share with you the recipe for the perfect Oreo Milkshake. So we are starting this Experimenting In The Kitchen Series where we will be posting our recipes and stuff we have tried and liked. Oreo milkshake is something I drink everyday. Yeah I am obsessed with Oreos but then who isn't? Lets get started.
What you need:
2-3 Chocolate cream Oreos (It tastes best with chocolate cream oreos and not vanilla ones)
1 glass of milk
Chocolate Syrup (Use any syrup available in the market)
Sugar
Blender or Blending Machine or Mixer
Procedure:
1. Take a glass of milk and put it into the blender.
2. Add 2-3 Chocolate cream oreos.
3. Add one spoon of sugar.
4. Add 2 spoons of chocolate syrup.
5. Blend it.
6. Garnish with chocolate flakes or sprinkles or whatever you like.
7. Enjoy.
This is for one glass. Repeat the process as many times as you want for the required amount of glasses you want.
That's it. It is that simple. Hope you enjoy.

Mail us/tweet us pictures of your milkshake if you try it. Also mail/tweet us your experience,  recipes, pretty much anything.  Follow our blog if you are a Blogger user for regular updates.

March Favorites

Whaddup people!
So the Mumbai Girls are backkk! This article was finished and edited last week but somehow Blogger crashed and we hadn't saved it so we had to write it all over again. Sowwwwwiiiiiieeee. So without further ado, let's get started!!!

Cosmetics: Pssshhhh like we know anything about that. But we do use some basic products and recently Miss P came across these amazing products and we are loving it. The first one is Baby Lips by Maybelline. I love the flavors and it makes your lips really soft. The next is Claire's travelling makeup kit/set. It is really small and fits almost everywhere and you can take it with you wherever you go and it saves a lot of space. So in our opinion it is awesome.

Apps: Our favorite app so far is Snapchat. It is THE most amazing app. You send pictures and send to your friends and it disappears in a few seconds. You can show your friends where you are, how you are looking or maybe some weird expressions. And the best part is you can't send pictures from your gallery or albums. You need to click them! Also Whatsapp is a very famous app in India. Its the most amazing instant messenger. The next app we love is Quiz Up. It's a quiz app as the name suggests. You can challenge your friends, you can play with random people on the internet and lots more. Must check it out if you are into that kind of stuff. It has 448 topics to choose from. And who doesn't like Instagram and Twitter?

Places In Mumbai: As a student of H.R. College I (Miss P) I spend most of my time in South Mumbai and visit a lot of places. My favorite place to eat is The J cafe which is exactly opposite H.R. College and K.C. College (Churchgate). It is the best place to eat around near my college. My favorites at The J are the Pizza Fries (French fries fully coated/dipped/in the gravy of pasta) and Chilly Cheese Fries (French fries in cheese and salsa type sauce) I don't know if it sounds appealing but trust me they are yummm. Also I love their nachos, pasta and milkshakes, cupcakes. If you live in Mumbai you must check it out. The next place is H.R. College canteen's Chinese food. HR has the best chinese food in Mumbai and it has even come in the newspaper a couple of times. Then I love Bachelor's which is opposite Mafatlal Bath, Chowpatty. It was basically a juice and ice-cream parlor it now it also has fast food. It has amazing juices and the best ice-cream flavors. Also near The J that is opposite HR college is 210* which is a pastry shop. It is by far my favorite pastry shop. I absolutely love it. And also in pastry shops I love Quattro's Rolling Pin which is in RCity Mall, Ghatkopar. These are just some local joints I love. For Restaurants my favorites are Quattro's (Lower Parel and RCity Mall, Ghatkopar), Cream Centre (Chowpatty; RCity Mall, Ghatkopar and Phoenix Market City, Kurla), Manchester United Cafe (Lower Parel and RCity Mall, Ghatkopar), Little Italy (Tilak Nagar next to Shoppers Stop in Ghatkopar) We will be doing a detailed review of all these places and next time I go there I'll click pictures to show you people how amazing these places are. Be sure to visit them if you live in Mumbai and if not visit them when you come to Mumbai.

Online Shopping: Favorite sites for online shopping are:
www.postergully.com for cool tshirts and laptop skins
www.stalkbuylove.com for clothes, accessories, bags
www.asos.com for clothes, accessories, bags
www.facebook.com/ShopSnob for clothes, accessories, bags
www.flipkart.com for everything

Blogs:
www.thosemumbaigirls.blogspot.in hehe, just kidding. Or are we?

Crushing over/WANT:

These are lip clutches from Lulu Guiness. Major crushing going on. Available on www.asos.com

All books by Ellen DeGeneres. Not really sure what the books are about but Ellen is our favorite person and let's face it, she could breathe and still it would be funny. Absolutely love her. (We are going to do a book review on one or all of her books shortly).

YouTubers: Superwoman (Lilly Singh), Connor Franta, Ryan Higa, Our2ndLife, Bethany Mota, Michelle Phan, Scherezade Shroff, All India Bakchod, The Viral Fever, Jennxpenn

Book Of The Month: The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

That's pretty much it. We may have missed out some categories but if you could comment/mail/tweet us we'll update this post. Also mail/tweet us if you like the things we like, your opinion/suggestions, if you visit or use any of the above mentioned things/places, your experience, pretty much anything. Girl Diaries Entry 2: How To Take The Perfect Selfie

Whaddup people,
The Mumbai Girls are back with yet another post. Selfies are girls' favorite kind of pictures but all selfies aren't good. What is it that makes a perfect selfie? If you haven't already figured out how to take a perfect selfie then the following steps will help you! Enjoy.

Step 1: The Preparation
You can't just pull out your phone and take a selfie. The preparation is important. Your clothes and most importantly your hair matters. So get ready. What you can do is do your hair, wear your favorite clothes and add some accessories and you are good to go.

Step 2: Finding The Light
For a selfie, the lighting is very important and it makes all the difference. If you are facing the light it gives you a cute look (not too much light) and if you have your back to the light it gives you a pretty look. It all depends on what kind of picture you want. Try out all the different places of light sources in your house or wherever you are taking a selfie because the light is really really important.

Step 3: The Pose
Now before you take a selfie you need to decide which pose you are doing because there are so many out there. It can be the duck face, the pout, the surprised :0 face or maybe the cute look. Some people look good in a horizontal selfie and some in a vertical one. Find out what is your kind because nobody knows your face as much as you do. Experiment with the poses and see which pose makes you look the best. Take around 3 to 57 selfies to find out your kind.
Tip: Extend your phone and take it closer to you, it gives the illusion of bigger eyes and makes you look very cute.

Step 4: The Editing
So after you have taken 3 to 57 selfies work on your editing. Just basic filters. Selfies look the best in the basic filters. My personal favorite is the Valencia filter on Instagram and that is pretty much the only filter I use for my selfies. Try out different filters to see which one makes your selfie look good. There are apps which make your marks and zits go away to make your skin look flawless. Use your favorite photo editor but don't go too far.

Step 5: The Promotion and The Caption
Post your selfie on all your social media be it Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Put an appropriate caption not a random yet philosophical irrelevant caption.

That's it for today's post. Hope you have fun taking selfies!
Mail us/tweet us your selfies because we would love to see your sexy faces. You can tag us or use the hashtag #MumbaiGirlsSelfie We would love to hear from you. If you want us to write about something or if you have any suggestions mail/tweet us

Girl Diaries Entry 1: How To Text A Guy You Like

Whaddup People?
The Mumbai Girls are back again with the first Girl Diaries Entry. This article wasn’t planned but a friend of ours told us she never knew how to text the guy she likes. So we thought about it a little (me, Miss P because Miss J has her exams, All The Best Miss J) and so here it is. And as a girl I know how difficult it is to text the guy you like. What should I tell him? Should I send a smiley? Should I put an exclamation mark? Should I send him a wink emoji? What picture should I keep as my dp? Will he like the picture? Does it make my eyes come out? Should I put a selfie? Anddd so many other questions.  Okay the questions were a bit exaggerated. We don’t do that, or do we? But you get it right? There is so much pressure! This has happened to us so many times. Girls can talk for hours non-stop but when it comes to a guy you really really like you never know what to say and end up saying something stupid. Yes it has happened to all of us once. So here are some steps to talk to a guy and make him like you. So this is from my experience and it works well with most type of guys. We hope it helps you J Let’s get right into it.
(Follow the steps like a mantra)

STEP 1: TEXT HIM FIRST (JUST THIS ONCE)

Okay so I know  this is something people tell you not to do but this step is really important for him to know you.  And for that (If you don’t already talk to him) you need to message him.

STEP 2: CASUAL CONVERSATION

Instead of the usual “What’s up?” Say something like “How was your basketball game?” if you know he is into sports or “How was that movie?” if you know he went for some movie with his friends or that girl he always hangs out with or just a “How was your day?” Make him want to answer your questions. Talk to him about his interests be it sports, movies, songs and whatever else he is into (We highly recommend you to do research on his interests so you can have some quality conversation and he knows you are actually into that stuff)

STEP 3: NO YES OR NO QUESTIONS

This is very important. Don’t ask Yes or No questions. That will ruin the conversation and he will probably start talking to someone else and won’t reply to you. Ask open ended questions and also use Step 2 tips about talking about stuff he is into and HE WILL TALK.

STEP 4: MAKE HIM WANT TO TALK TO YOU

So you are having a great conversation with the guy and you feel the need to talk to him all night but PLEASE DON’T DO THAT. Wait for it and play it carefully. You will want to make him want to talk to you again and again. So just stop the conversation mid-way saying “Hey it was great talking to you but I gotta go to bed.” or “Hey I have some work. It was nice talking to you.” Make him feel like “Damn, I wanted to talk to her.” (Don’t end the conversation really fast. Make sure he is very much into the conversation before you end it) So say “Hi” or wave at him when you meet him at school/college or work but DO NOT MESSAGE HIM. He will message you first the next time. And trust me, he’ll keep on messaging you always.

So that’s pretty much it. It isn’t much but I am really tired. I will probably do one What To Not Text A Guy You Like article or maybe How Do You Know If A Guy Likes You or just something else. Mail/tweet us what you want.
Also in other news we are starting a Boys World Series which will be the boy version of Girls Diaries.
Next article up tonight or tomorrow will be March Favourites

Mumbai Diaries Entry 2: AIB The Royal Turds Show

Hello Lovely People,
Miss P here, So I promised you an article about the AIB The Royal Turds Show I went for and here it is. Sorry for the late upload but I had gone for a 2 day vacation. Sowwwiiieeee. Let's get right into it.
AIB is a group of around some 6-7 members (not really sure) and they have a concept of The Royal Turds Show. Basically this show is an award show but instead of The Best.. they have nominations for The Worst... Not only about Bollywood, it can be anything. This show is hosted by 4 of them: Tanmay Bhat, Rohan Joshi, Ashish Shakya, Gursimran Khamba. It was a 2 hour show and it left my stomach hurting from all the laughing. (The show content was explicit, don't watch it if you are under-age) (Miss J: P, you watched it!) Okay go watch it. You will enjoy I am sure
It stated with the 4 of them coming on stage and celebrating 101 years of Bollywood (That's a bit too much. 101 years?) They covered various aspects of Bollywood and also compared Bollywood with Hollywood. Trust me, it was hilarious. I am not going to get into details as it will ruin the show for you.
Then Khamba and Tanmay came with the first set of nominations. It was so amazing. They had nominations for so many weird things (weird in a good way). They explained and enacted each nominee which left us crying in laughter. And the award went to some random non-nominee and again they explained and enacted why.
Next up were Ashish and Rohan. (Rohan, you are hawwwwwttt) Not the point but they did pretty much the same (except the fact that all the girls were drooling at Rohan). It was hilarious and all really true and realatable. The way they did it was amazing. Their acting was amazing. They were amazing.
Again Tanmay and Khamba came up. Again Rohan and Ashish. Amazing set of nominations (I have said amazing wayyyy too many times)
Then was The Geetmala (singing) All of them along with 2 others (whose names I don't know) came up. And they had made some awesome set of songs. They changed some lyrics of some songs and made their own. What creativity! They did some Himesh Reshamiya, Atif Aslam, Anu Malik (Some Indian singers) Spoof. It was hilarious. Did you know all major pop songs are on the 4 tunes or whatever they are called. Only on 4. And in Bollywood only on 3. I mean, what??? They proved it with some more amaizng songs and stuff.
All in all a Saturday well spent. I absolutely love them. I would have gone into the details but it will spoil the show for you. DON'T FORGET TO WATCH THEIR VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE.
Mail us, tweet us, send us pictures and all that stuff.

Mumbai Diaries Entry 1: The Kings of Mumbai

THE KINGS OF MUMBAI?
Who are the kings of Mumbai? The Government? Psssshhh. They ain't doing anything. The Minister? probably "busy" finding out ways of making money. The police? Naaaa. Those typical Bollywood style Dons? Not really sure if they exist. So who is it? (Miss J: P, are we gonna tell them?)
It issssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
THE TAXI AND AUTO WALAS
That is the taxi and autorickshaw drivers.
What? What? What?
Now I know you people must be confused. The taxi drivers? Seriously?
The Mumbaikars will silently agree. #TrueStory
Now let me explain. Just give me a moment.
You need taxis and autos (short for autorickshaws) everyday especially if you are below 18 like us. Taxis and autos take you places. Because let's be real who uses the public bus anymore? Ain't nobody doing that. So you spend 50 times more to travel in the "taxi" and around 30 times more for the "rickshaws" than the bus.
(Note: For Non-Mumbaikars: In Mumbai, travelling locally is very different than other countries and cities. The Taxis and Rickshaws are the vehicles used to travel daily for those who don't have cars and bikes and scooters and all that stuff or the people who can't drive till they are 18. Which is around 60-70% of the population. And even though taxi drivers cannot say no and have to take you wherever you want, it doesn't happen. They do what they  want)
These taxi drivers don't want to go from Andheri West to Andheri Eest. They don't want to go from Ghatkopar East to Ghatkopar West. They don't want to go to Valkeshwar. Where do they want to go?
I don't know! They just say no. Or even worse go away without even replying. I mean What The Hell! How can they do that? They can't
I swear I cannot remember the number of times I have been rejected by these taxi and rickshaw drivers. No one has ever rejected me as much as you, you drivers. They say no as and when they feel like.
So ultimately what happens is: you wait for about an hour (not joking here) till someone says yes and takes you to your destination. And then you get stuck in traffic which is 24/7 in Mumbai. Why you do this to me?
And what's worse? (What can be worse than this???) Yesss, They get their wants fulfilled while the people cannot do anything about it! I mean the taxi and rickshaw fare increased one day after they went for a strike and stopped all the taxis and rickshaws for a day. From Rs.9 to Rs.12 to Rs.15 finally for the rikshaw and from Rs.11 to Rs.14 to Rs.19 for the starting fare of the taxi. Sayyyy Whatttttttttttttt???
And when the people protested for the fact that the taxi and rickshaw drivers say no and don't agree to take people where they want, what happened? Nothing!!!
And not to mention the rise in these starting prices cut deep deep holes in a man's pocket.
Once this incident happened to me (Miss P), I had gone to my brother's house for some work. He lives in Andheri East. So for coming home I was standing for an rickshaw patiently. 1 hour and 30 minutes later I finally get the rickshaw and I am relieved. Only to realize that now is the peak time, the rush hour, when everyone comes home, and mind you it took me 3 hours to come home instead of the usual 30 minutes.
How I hate such situations! Comment/tweet us if you have ever experienced any such thing in Mumbai or elsewhere or if you just want to tell me what you think about this! Shouldn't this stop?
So I am going for All India Bakchod's The Royal Turds Show at Bandra tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. IST so I will be writing about it mostly. So Mumbai Diaries Entry 2 The Royal Turds Show coming real soon ;)
For those who don't know All India Bakchod is a group of people who make really amazing relatable videos on YouTube and The Royal Turds is a part of them who host award show kinda shows where they award The Worst ... titles. They are really amazing and I think you should go check them out. (They are popularly known as AIB)

What are posts gonna be about!

Hello Lovely People,
How are you people doing? This post is basically about telling you our 4 monthly series (not really sure what it is called so lets go with series). An article in each series will be posted once a month. So you get it right? 4 weeks, 4 series. Plus every week an article from Miss J and one from Miss P. (Because we love you) So let's get right into this.

Mumbai Diaries: So we are The Mumbai Girls that is Mumbaikars (citizens of Mumbai) so it's pretty self explanatory that we will be posting articles about Mumbai. These articles will be about things happening in Mumbai, places we like in Mumbai (no marketing, just places good for hanging out, shopping, colleges and stuff like that) and also events we have attended in Mumbai, stuff like that. So Mumbaikars go grab your popcorn as you silently agree with us and Non-Mumbaikars enjoy and maybe get ideas for when you visit Mumbai ;)

Monthly Favorites: A lot of YouTubers do this and we are not really sure if this works with blogs but we are gonna try anyways. So for those of you who don't know what this means we will be picking out our favorite stuff and posting it here in the first week of the next month. Favorite products (any kind of products), favorite songs, books, places, quotes, blogs, videos, anything. Whatever we like! (Send us an email/tweet us if you want us to try any product you like or any of your monthly favorites, we would absolutely love to hear from you and check it out)

I Thought You Might Want To Get To Know Us!

Hello Lovelies,
We are really lost right now. Not really sure how to start but we are gonna try anyways. We? Yes. So let us begin with some basic introductions, information blah blah blah. So Hi I am Miss P and sitting next to me is Miss J. She says Hi. Anyways we are 17 year olds living in the city of Mumbai, in the country of India! Yayy! *fakes enthusiasm* So we decided to remain anonymous because let's face it's more fun that way. We consider ourselves ninjas #ninjafail . We have always been passionate about writing. So why not start a blog? So hi, we are Those Mumbai Girl. We have just completed 11th Grade or FYJC year  and are ready (as ready as we can ever be) (which is never) to step into the education terror (Is that even a word?) that is the 12th Grade or HSC Board Exam Year (For those who don't live in Mumbai, or India for that matter, this is the exam one has to give that determines the degree college and our career. So yeah, no pressure. No pressure at all) This is a very important academic year for the both of us but we will be posting articles every week. Articles about what? So yeah we will be posting about various trends, Mumbai life stories, teenage stuff and we might even do product reviews if you want (We are girls, we are into all of that). We both have our colleges at the opposite ends of Mumbai but we have been school bestfriends for 3 years and live nearby so we are doing this together.

Talents: Our total of talents for the both of us is 0. Not even joking. (Miss P: Hey I am talented. I know how to take the perfect selfies, I know everything about everyone, I speak sarcasm fluently and the list goes on. Miss J: P, get real here) K. We don't have any real talents.
